​Long Crochet Vest of Motifs

You’ll need:

450g of coral Coco yarn (100% mercerized cotton; 240m/50g);

Crochet hook 1,75.

Size: S-M.

Instructions

Make 8 motifs due to the scheme, connect them between one another in the last row. For arm-holes, don’t connect half of motif of right and left front with back. When all motifs are made and connected with one another, fasten upper arches on the right front: 1^st row: half-crochet;

2^nd row: *5 double crochets, 2 chain sts*; repeat x 7 times. Totally, make 10 rows, don’t forget to make neck-hole chamfer. Fasten left front and back in the same way.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For hood, make 2 motifs due to the scheme. Make the last 3 rows only from one side in order to make half-circle detail. Connect motifs between one another, as it’s shown on the drawing. Fasten lower edge of hood with 1 row of half crochets, 7 rows of * 5 double crochets, 2 chain sts*; repeat from * to * x 20 times. Connect hood with neck-hole. Starting from the lower side of left front, make placket with 6 cm of half crochets on the hood and right front. Make 6 button-holes. Fasten arm-holes with 4 cm of half-crochets. For belt, make 10 chain sts and make a stripe of the needed length.
