How to Create a Gorgeous Crochet Skirt with Motifs

You'll Need:

450g of 100% cotton yarn (396m/150g);

Crochet hook 3;

Fabric for underskirt;

Elastic rib.

Instructions

You should make 25 motifs for your skirt and connect them according to the pattern design. The diameter of one motif is 17 cm.

Put them with half-diameter off-center in 5 rows - see the scheme. Connect the elements to one another while crocheting the last row.

After all the elements are connected, smooth the upper part of the skirt, filling the blank spaces with a net of double crochets and chain stitches. Crochet according to the scheme.

The last stage of forming the upper part is making the belt according to the scheme.

Now, turn to forming the lower edge of the skirt. Fasten the edge of the bottom part with picot.

Cut out the underskirt from fabric to the same size as your skirt is, but a little bit shorter. Sew it along the belt, making two seams for the self-belt.

Insert the elastic rib.
