Legs and Body (Spice and Pink Yarn)

Make Two:

  1. Start working with spice yarn, 6 sc in a mr (6).
  2. *1 sc, 1 sc inc*, repeat **twice (8).
  3. 3-6) sc even (8); F/O and hide the yarn and stuff the leg.

Do not cut the yarn once you have completed the 2nd leg, CH 8 INSTEAD.

Merge the Two Legs Together

  1. Join the yarn with a sl st to the 1st leg, ch1 and sc in the same st, crochet around 7 sc, work 1 hdc in each stitch between the two legs, keep working on the second leg, 8 sc, work 1 hdc in each stitch in between the two legs (32).
  2. 8-11) sc even (32); keep stuffing the body.
  3. 12) 11 sc, switch to pink yarn, 4 sc, switch back to spice yarn, 17 sc (32).
  4. 13) Repeat round 12 (32).
  5. 14) Keep working with spice yarn, 10 sc, switch to pink yarn, 6 sc, switch back to spice yarn, 16 sc (32).
  6. 15-16) Repeat round 14 (32).
  7. 17) Keep working with spice yarn, 9 sc, switch to pink yarn, 8 sc, switch back to spice yarn, 15 sc (32).
  8. 18) Repeat round 17 (32).
  9. 19-22) Keep working with spice yarn, sc even (32).
  10. 23) *2 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat **around (24).
  11. 24) *1 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat **around (16); finish stuffing the bear.
  12. 25) sc dec around (8); F/O, close the hole, cut and hide the yarn.

Embroider the nose and the eyes with black yarn.

Ears (Spice Yarn; Make Two)

Big Ear

  1. 6 sc in a mr (6).
  2. sc inc around (12).
  3. *2 sc, 1 sc inc*, repeat **around (16).
  4. sc even (16).
  5. sc dec around (8); F/O and leave a long tail of yarn to sew the ear onto the head.

Do not stuff the ear; flatten it instead before attaching it in between rounds 23-25 of the body.

Small Ear

  1. 6 sc in a mr (6).
  2. sc inc around (12).
  3. 3-4) sc even (12).

Arms (Spice Yarn; Make Two)

  1. 6 sc in a mr (6).
  2. 2-5) sc even (6); F/O and leave a long tail of yarn to sew the arm to the side of the body between rounds 11-12. Stuff the arm lightly before attaching it.
