Required materials: Nakolen 257 (3 balls), 219,1182 (1each ball) by Nako Yarns

Season: Autumn, Winter, Spring

How to knit Vest

BACK PIECE:

1- Cast on 129 stitches w/ yarn color no. 257. Work 4+1 rib along knitting. 2- Finish when body length is 40 cm.

FRONT PIECES:

1- Cast on 64 stitches w/ yarn color no. 257. Work 4+1 rib along knitting.
2- When body length is 16 cm, work 5 stitches w/ yarn no. 219 and the remaining stitches w/ yarn no. 257 at one end.
3- On every front row, work the stitches finished w/ yarn no. 219 by slipping toward the other side by 5 stitches.
4- After working for 8 cm w/ yarn no. 219, work 5 stitches w/ yarn no. 257 at the same end.
5- On every next front row, work the stitches finished w/ yarn no. 257 by slipping toward the other side by 5 stitches.
6- Work once more w/ yarn no. 257 in the same manner by slipping stitches.
7- Continue working w/ yarn no. 219 and finish when body length is 65 cm.
8- Perform chain work w/ hook w/ yarn no.1182 at color-switch points.
9-In order to give a tartan look, finish by making tacking w/ sewing needle.
10- Attach tassels onto the hem and front pieces.
