Crochet Instructions for a Fuschia and Blue-Green Yarn Design

200 (250)g of the same yarn, but in anthracite color;

100g of mélange blue-black Fur yarn (40% polyamide, 25% wool, 20% mohair, 15% acryl; 85m/50g);

Crochet hook 4 or 4.5;

2 buttons.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of stitches is even. Work according to the scheme. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, complete pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after pattern repeat. Make 1st to 4th rows once, then repeat 3rd and 4th rows, turning rows as stated.

Stripes order: * 1 blue-green row, 1 fuschia row, 1 anthracite yarn*.

Stitches Control:

16.5 sts x 9.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Make 92 (100) chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with blue-green yarn and work with the main pattern according to the stripes order. At the same time, decrease 6 x 1 stitch in every 6th and 4th row from both sides for chamfers = 80 (88) stitches. In 36 cm = 34 rows from the set-up row, bind off 7 stitches from both sides for armholes = 66 (74) stitches. Finish your work in 55 cm = 52 rows (57 cm = 54 rows) from the set-up row. The central 36 stitches form the neck-hole, outer 15 (19) stitches from each side form the shoulders.

Left Front

Start from 2 details. For this, make 20 (22) chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with blue-green yarn and work with the main pattern according to the stripes order. In 6.5 cm = 6 rows from the set-up row, connect both parts with 6 chain stitches and continue working on all 46 (50) stitches according to the pattern. Make the side chamfer and armhole from the right side in the same way as for the back = 33 (37) stitches. In 48.5 cm = 46 rows (50.5 cm = 48 rows) from the set-up row, leave 14 stitches from the left side for the neck-hole and decrease 4 x 1 stitch in every row. Finish your work on the remaining 15 (19) stitches of the shoulder at the height of the back.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front with 2 button-holes. For this, in 38 cm = 36 rows (40 cm = 38 rows) from the set-up row, make 3 chain stitches above the 4th and 6th stitches from the beginning of the row with a slip stitch in the next row. Make the 2nd hole in 6 rows.

Sleeves

Start from 2 details. For this, make 20 (24) chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with blue-green yarn and work with the main pattern according to the stripes order. In 6.5 cm = 6 rows from the set-up row, connect both parts with 6 chain stitches and continue working on all 46 (54) stitches according to the pattern. At the same time, increase 1 stitch from both sides for chamfers, then 3 x 1 stitch in every 6th row and 4 x 1 stitch in every 4th row = 62 (70) stitches, including the increased stitches in the pattern. Finish your work in 47.5 cm = 45 rows from the set-up row.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For the collar, fasten the neck-hole with 88 slip stitches with blue-green yarn and then work with the main pattern according to the stripes order, starting with 1 blue-green row. Finish your work at 13.5 cm = 13 rows height of the collar. Sew up the sleeves, and make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the edges of the front and lower edge with 3 rows of single crochets. Fasten the lower edges of the sleeves in the same way. Sew buttons.
