Beads Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple of 14 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work according to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated.

Garter Stitch

Knit sts.

Stitches Control:

• Bead pattern, knitting needles 5.5: 18.5 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
• Bead pattern, knitting needles 5: 20 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
• Garter stitch, knitting needles 5: 12.5 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 115 sts with knitting needles 5.5 and work with bead pattern. In 21 cm = 42 rows from the set-up row, turn to knitting needles 5. For arm-holes, bind off 1 x 7 sts from both sides in 11.5 cm = 24 rows from needles change = 101 sts. In 23 cm = 48 rows from changing needles, work with garter stitch, decrease 38 sts in the 1st row = 63 sts. For shoulder chamfers, bind off 1 x 5 sts from both sides in 10.5 cm = 26 rows from needles change; then, bind off 2 x 4 sts in every 2nd row. In 13 cm = 32 rows from patterns change, bind off the rest 37 sts. The central 27 sts form the neck-hole, and the outer 5 sts are for the shoulders.

Left Front

Cast on 59 sts with knitting needles 5.5 and work with bead pattern. In 21 cm = 42 rows from the set-up row, change to knitting needles 5 and make arm-hole from the right side in the same way as for back = 52 sts. In 23 cm = 48 rows from needles change, work with garter stitch, decrease 19 sts in the 1st row = 33 sts. For neck-hole, bind off 1 x 4 sts in 4 cm = 10 rows from patterns change from the left side; then, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 6 x 1 st in every 2nd row. At the same time, make shoulder chamfer from the right side in the same way as for back. Bind off the rest 5 sts at the height of back.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to left front.

Sleeves

Cast on 87 sts with knitting needles 5.5 and work with bead pattern for each sleeve. In 21 cm = 42 rows from the set-up row, change to knitting needles 5 and in 23 cm = 48 rows from needles change, bind off all sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole and edges of front with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “crab stitch”. Sew up the sleeves. Make side and sleeve seams. Sew button.
