Back

Cast on 54 sts with knitting needles 4.5 and make 7 rows of 1 x 1 rib. Divide sts in the following way: 4 purls, 21 sts of fancy pattern according to the scheme, and 4 purls.

After that, work according to the scheme of fancy pattern. For back widening, increase 3 x 1 st in every 10^th row from both sides starting from the 30^th row from rib = 60 sts. For arm-holes, bind off 3 sts from both sides in the 71^st row from rib. Then, bind off 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 48 sts. For the neck-hole, bind off the central 22 sts in the 105^th row from rib and bind off 2 x 1 st in every row from both sides = 11 sts. Make the left shoulder in the same way. Bind off all sts in the 107^th row.

Front

Cast on 54 sts with knitting needles 4.5 and make 7 rows of 1 x 1 rib. Divide sts in the following way: 4 purls, 21 sts of fancy pattern, 4 purls, 21 sts of fancy pattern, and 4 purls. Then, work according to the scheme of fancy pattern. For front widening, increase 3 x 1 st in every 10^th row from both sides = 60 sts. For arm-holes, bind off 3 sts from both sides of rib in the 71^st row, then, bind off 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 48 sts. For the neck-hole, bind off the central 14 sts in the 87^th row and bind off 1 x 2 sts and 4 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides = 11 sts. Bind off all sts in the 107^th row. Make the left shoulder in the same way.

Sleeves

Cast on 27 sts with knitting needles 4.5 and make 7 rows of 1 x 1 rib. Divide sts in the following way: 3 purls, 21 sts of fancy pattern, and 3 purls. Continue work according to the fancy pattern. For sleeve widening, increase 8 x 1 st in every 8^th row from both sides = 43 sts. For sleeve caps, bind off 3 sts from both sides in the 73^rd row, then, bind off 1 x 2 sts, 9 x 1 st, and 2 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row = 7 sts. Bind off all sts in the 93^rd row. Make the second sleeve in the same way.

Assembly

Make shoulder, side, and sleeve seams. Sew up the sleeves in the arm-holes. Cast on 64 sts along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles 4 and make 4 rows with 1 x 1 rib, followed by 5 rows of stockinette stitch.
