You’ll Need:

700 (750) 800g of burgundy yarn (60% cotton, 30% nylon, 10% cashmere wool; 225m/50g);

Crochet hook 4,5.

Size:

S (M) L.

Used Patterns:

Main pattern: The quantity of stitches is even. Work according to the scheme. Start with stitches before the pattern repeat, then the pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after the pattern repeat.

Begin the 1st row with 1 chain stitch increase; starting from the 2nd row, use 3 chain stitches instead of the 1st double crochet. Make rows 1-4 once, then repeat rows 3-4.

Stitches Control:

16.5 stitches x 8.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Back:

Make 80 (88) 96 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch with crochet hook 4 and work with the main pattern. In 66 cm = 56 rows from the setup chain, finish your work (the central 22 stitches form the neck-hole, 29 (33) 37 stitches from both sides – shoulders).

Left Front:

Make 64 (88) 96 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase with crochet hook 4 and work with the main pattern. Finish your work at the same height as back (the first 29 (33) 37 stitches form the shoulder; the rest 35 stitches form the beginning of the hood).

Right Front:

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves:

Make 40 (46) 52 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase with crochet hook 4 and work with the main pattern. In 4.5 cm = 4 rows from the beginning of the chain, start making increases for chamfers. Increase 1 x 2 stitches at the beginning of the next row: 3 chain stitches instead of the 1st single crochet, 1 puff stitch in the final double crochet of the previous row, 1 chain stitch, and finish the row. Repeat this increase x 13 times, increasing 2 stitches from both sides in every 3rd row = 68 (74) 80 stitches. In 52 cm = 44 rows from the set-up chain, finish your work.

Hood:

For the right half, make 15 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and make 15 single crochets on them. Cut the yarn. Join the yarn to the beginning of the row of the right front and make 35 stitches of the right front with the main pattern, then continue work on 15 single crochets. After that, continue work with the main pattern on 50 stitches. In 23.5 cm = 20 rows from the beginning of the hood, decrease 1 x 2 stitches from the left side for upper rounding: leave the last puff stitch open, including chain stitch. Repeat this decrease x 3 times in every 2nd row. In 33 cm = 28 rows from the beginning of the hood, finish your work when there are 42 stitches left. Make the left half of the hood in symmetry.

Assembly:

Make shoulder seams. Make back and upper hood seams. Sew up the sleeves and make side and sleeve seams.
