How to Knit a Stylish Garment Using Bergere de France Yarn



You’ll Need:
350g of black Bergere de France Cotton Fifty yarn (50% cotton, 50% acrylic; 140m/50g);
250g of black Bergere de France Sirene yarn (100% polyamide; 190m/50g);
Knitting needles 4.5;
Crochet hook 3;
Marking rings.
Size:

Note:
Work in 2 threads of yarn: 1 thread of Coton Fifty yarn and 1 thread of Sirene yarn.
Used Patterns:
Relief pattern: the quantity of stitches is multiple of 6 + 1.
Pattern Instructions:
1st row (RS): 1 knit stitch, *1 yarn over, knit 2 together to the left, 1 knit stitch, knit 2 together, 1 yarn over, 1 knit stitch*; repeat from * to *;
2nd and all even rows: purl;
3rd row: 2 knit stitches, 1 yarn over, knit 3 together to the left, 1 yarn over, *3 knit stitches, 1 yarn over, knit 3 together to the left, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *, 2 knit stitches.
Repeat 1st-4th rows.
Stitches Control:
19 stitches x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions:
Back:
Cast on 121 stitches and work with the relief pattern. In 25 cm = 50 rows from the set-up row, insert a marking ring in the 1st stitch to mark the beginning of the neck-hole and continue working with the relief pattern. In 55 cm = 110 rows from the set-up row, insert another marking ring in the 1st stitch to mark the end of the neck-hole. Bind off all stitches in 80 cm = 160 rows from the set-up row.
Front:
Make in the same way as the back.
Assembly:
Make shoulder seams. Fasten the neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets. Make side seams, leaving 24 cm cuts for arm-holes.
