Instructions

Front and Back

Cast on 248 -264 — 280 — 296 — 312 — 326 — 344 sts with knitting needles 3.5 and make 14 — 18 — 22 — 26 — 30 — 34 — 38 circle rows of 2 x 2 rib. Then, work 98 sts due to the scheme, followed by 26 — 34 — 42 — 50 — 59 — 66 — 74 sts of rib, again 98 sts due to the scheme, and finish with 12 -16 — 20 — 24 — 28 — 32 — 36 rows of rib. Complete 10 rows in this manner. Then, switch to stockinette stitch in the sections without pattern as per the scheme; bind off sts in every 20th -20th -18th -20th -18th -17th -18th rows, alternating slip of sts B and A as follows:

Decrease B: Make 2 purls before and after the central pattern, then knit 2 together at the beginning of the stripe, which is made in stockinette stitch (from sides) = 8 sts bound off;

Decrease A: Make 2 purls at the beginning and end of the WS stripe between cables = 8 sts bound off. Also make 2 purls before and after the central pattern and knit 2 together at both ends of the work made in stockinette stitch = 8 sts bound off. Bind off the sts a total of 7-8-8-9-9-9-9 times = 192-200-216-224-240 — 256 — 272 sts. Knit to a length of 59 - 59 -60 — 60 - 61 - 62 - 63 cm, then bind off 10 sts from both sides for armholes. Set this piece aside and proceed to make sleeves.

Sleeves

Cast on 70 — 70 -74 -74 — 78 — 78 — 82 sts with knitting needles 3 and execute 10 rows of rib in both the straight and reversed directions. Switch to knitting needles 3.5 and continue making rib, increasing 1 st at the beginning and end of this row. Continue increasing sts every 2 cm for 4-4 — 4 — 4 — 5 — 5 times = 78 -78 — 82 — 82 — 86 — 88 — 92 sts. Knit the sleeves to a length of 9 — 9 — 10 — 10 — 11 -11-12 cm. Bind off 6 sts both at the beginning and end of the row.

Raglan

Join the sleeves to the sides of the other pieces. For the next row: begin knitting the sleeve on the back. Mark the central 42 sts and work in stockinette stitch up to the marker. Then, make a cable of 18 sts as per the scheme (start with the rib from the same pattern row as in other pieces: 6 purls, cable of 18 sts, 1 knit st). Continue to knit the front as previously, and make the second sleeve similarly, along with the back. In the next row, execute the raglan as follows: knit to the last 2 sts of the next connection point, slip 1 st without knitting, knit 1 st, draw the slipped st through the knit st, and knit 2 together, continuing this for a total of 8 sts bound off. Keep knitting and bind off the sts of raglan x 8-9-9-10-10-11-11 times. Then, transfer the central 24 — 24 -26 -26 — 26 -26 sts for the neck-hole to an auxiliary needle. Knit to the end of the row. Cut the yarn. Continue the work from the other side of the neck-hole and follow the previous steps, binding off 3 sts at the beginning of every row. Continue with the raglan until the back sts are bound off x 21 — 22 — 24 — 25 — 26 — 27 — 29 times. Leave the remaining sts.

Neck-Hole

Cast on 170-165-180-185 -190 — 195 — 200 sts along the neck-hole with knitting needles 3, and knit 12 rows of 3 x 2 rib (3 purls, 2 knit sts). Bind off 1 st in every WS stripe, using purl 2 together. Finish with 5 rows of 2 x 2 rib.

Assembly

Sew the sleeves into the armholes and complete the sleeve seams.
