Instructions
Jacket
Work as one-piece cloth. For this, make 64 (68) 68 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase instead of the 1st double crochet. Make the 1st row in the following way: 1 double crochet in the 4th chain stitch, *skip 1 chain stitch, 1 double crochet in the next 3 chain stitches*; repeat from * to *, skip 1 chain stitch, 1 double crochet in the last chain stitch = 49 (52) 52 double crochets.
Then, draw 4 marking threads of yarn in the following row:
Draw marking yarn A between the 11th and 12th (12th and 13th) 12th and 13th double crochets;
Draw marking yarn B between the 17th and 18th (18th and 19th) 18th and 19th double crochets;
Draw marking yarn C between the 32nd and 33rd (34th and 35th) 34th and 35th double crochets;
Draw marking yarn D between the 38th and 39th (40th and 41st) 40th and 41st double crochets.
For the yoke, continue work with double crochets, increasing 4 (5) 7 x 4 stitches and 6 (6) 5 x 2 stitches in every row near marking yarn = 161 (180) 204 stitches. At the same time, in 4 (4) 5 cm from the beginning, make the 1st button-hole from the right side; make the remaining 4 button-holes above the 1st hole with an interval of 5 (5.5) 6 cm. In 11 (12) 13 rows = 9 (10) 11 cm from the setup row, form sleeves on 34 (38) 44 stitches between marking threads A, B, C, D. For this, continue work with double crochets, decreasing 1 x 1 stitch in every 4th row from both sides. Subsequently, decrease 2 x 1 stitch in every 3rd row (2 x 1 stitch in every 4th, then 3 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row and 2 x 1 stitch in every 3rd row.
In 12 (14) 15 cm from the beginning of sleeves, continue work with the fans pattern, starting at arrow A, skipping 2-3 stitches in the 1st row to get 11 arches of chain stitches. After 4 rows from the pattern change, sleeves will be completed. Make sleeve seams.
Increase 7 (8) 8 stitches on the central 85 (96) 108 stitches and work on 25 (28) 31 stitches of the right half of front, 43 (48) 54 stitches of back, and 25 (28) 31 stitches of the left half of front = 100 (112) 124 stitches. Then, work with the fans pattern, where the outer 4 stitches form edges from arrow B. In 21 (23) 24 cm from the beginning of the setup row, make treble crochets instead of double crochets. Finish your work in 26 (28) 31 cm from the setup row.
Assembly
Make fringe along edges and neck-hole. Sew buttons.
Hat
Make 4 chain stitches and circle them in the ring with 1 slip stitch.
1st round: 6 single crochets in the ring;
2nd-4th rounds: 1 single crochet in every single crochet;
5th-6th rounds: 2 single crochets in every single crochet = 24 stitches;
7th round: *1 single crochet, 2 single crochets in the next stitch*; repeat from * to * = 36 stitches;
8th round: *2 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next stitch*; repeat from * to * = 48 stitches;
9th round: *3 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next stitch*; repeat from * to * = 60 stitches.
After that, work with the fans pattern, starting from arrow C to get 22 (24) 26 arches of chain stitches. In 10 (11) 12 cm from the setup toe, make treble crochets instead of double crochets. Finish your work in 14 (15) 16 cm from the setup row.
I wish the sizes were in months not centimeters. It seems this starts at a size 24 months and goes up but that doesn't seem correct.
50-56: 0-2 months
62-68: 3-6 months;
74-80: 6-12 months
6 to 12 months
Thank you so much!! I'm trying to find the yarn but can you tell me what ply it is?
