​Crochet Green and Blue Shawl and Hat
​Crochet Green and Blue Shawl and Hat

You’ll need:

400g of 100% wool yarn on blue-green color (250m/100g) – for shawl and 100g for back;

Crochet hook 4 and 5.

 

Size: 150 cm wide x 75 cm hight.

Hat: 50-54 cm.

 

Instructions

Shawl

1st row: make 5 chain sts, (1 chain st, 3 double crochets, 3 chain sts, 3 double crochets, 1 chain st, 1 double crochet) in the 1st chain st;

2nd row: 4 chain sts, 3 double crochets under the next chain st, 1 chain st under the central arch of chain sts, 3 double crochets, 3 chain sts, 3 double crochets (= middle), 1 chain st, 3 double crochets under chain st after the next group of double crochets, 1 chain st and 1 double crochet in the 4th chain st increase;

3rd row: 4 chain sts, * 3 double crochets under chain st, 1 chain st*; repeat from * to * x once under the central arch of chain sts, 3 double crochets, 3 chain sts and 3 double crochets, 1 chain st*; repeat from * to * x twice, 1 double crochet in the 3rd chain st increase.

Repeat the 3rd row.

When the side edge is 110 cm long, diagonal side – 150 cm long, finish your work.

 

Assembly

Make tassels of 4 threads 30 cm long for each tassel.

 

Hat

Make 10 double crochets in the ring (1st circle row). Them, work with the main pattern and make increases in the following way: 2nd circle row: double every st = 20 double crochets;

3rd circle row: double every 2nd st = 30 double crochets;

4th circle row: double every 3rd st = 40 double crochets;

5th and 6th circle rows: 40 double crochets without increases;

7th circle row: double every 2nd st = 60 double crochets;

8th circle row: double every 6th st = 70 double crochets.

After that, work without increases straight to 22 cm height. Finish the last circle row of double crochets and finish with 2 half crochets and 1 single crochet, then, make 1 more circle row of single crochets.
