The Begdc can be replaced with 3 chains.
Special Techniques:
Changing Colors: To change color in the last stitch of the row, complete the last stitch until there are 2 loops left on the hook, drop the current color, pick up the new color, yarn over, and draw through both loops.

Rnd. 1: Continuing with A – Ch 1, (sc, hdc, sc) in first stitch, sc in next 26 stitches, (sc, hdc, sc) in last stitch of row.
Rotate cloth to work on the vertical side, work 26 sc evenly across this side.
Rotate cloth to work on the bottom of Row 1, (sc, hdc, sc) in first stitch, sc in next 26 stitches, (sc, hdc, sc) in last stitch.
Rotate cloth to work on the vertical side, work 26 sc evenly across this side, join with sl st to beg sc.
Rnd. 2: Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), hdc in the same stitch, work 3 hdc in each corner hdc and 1 hdc in each sc around, join with sl st to beg hdc. Finish off. Weave in all ends.
