Left Cross: Slip 2 sts to dpn and hold in front; purl 2, yarn over; from dpn knit 2 knit sts together through back loop.

Right Cross: Slip 2 sts to dpn and hold in back; knit 2 knit sts together, yarn over, purl 2 from dpn.

The quantity of sts is a multiple of 18 + 1.
