Row 1: 2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches.

Then repeat the pattern from the 1st row.

Row 2

2 knit stitches under knit stitches, 1 purl, slip 1 purl, leaving the thread in front of the slipped stitch, i.e., from its back side.

Row 3

2 knit stitches, slip 1 knit stitch onto the auxiliary needle, then knit the knit stitch through the following stitch and after that, knit the stitch through the stitches on the auxiliary needle.

Row 4

2 purl stitches, 2 knit stitches.

Row 5

2 purl stitches, slip 1 knit stitch - leave the thread behind the slipped stitch, i.e., from its back side, followed by 1 knit stitch.

Row 6

Knit purls according to the scheme.
