Row Instructions

1st Row

1 selvedge st, * knit sts*, 1 selvedge st;

2nd Row

1 selvedge st, * purls*, 1 selvedge st;

3rd Row

3 sts out of 3 sts - * insert the right-hand needle through back loops of 3 sts and make 1 knit st, don't slip these 3 sts from the left-hand needle, make yarn over, knit3tog, slip 3 sts from the left-hand needle, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *;

4th Row

1 selvedge st, * purls*, 1 selvedge st;

5th Row

1 selvedge st, 2 knit sts, * 3 sts out of 3 sts, as in the 3rd row, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *, 2 knit sts, 1 selvedge st;

6th Row

1 selvedge st, * purls*, 1 selvedge st.

Repeating the Pattern
