Knitting needles 3;
Circular knitting needles 3 100 cm long;
Circular knitting needles 2.5 60 cm long.
Size:
S (M) L.
Used Pattern
Rib Pattern
1 x 1 rib.
Relief Pattern
The quantity of sts is multiple 9 + 2 selvage sts.
Work according to the scheme, where only RS rows are stated, making WS rows and yarn overs as purls. Repeat the pattern between selvage sts. Repeat 1st-16th rows.Yoke Pattern
The quantity of sts is multiple 9. Work the same way as the relief pattern, but in circular rows. Only odd rows are stated on the scheme. Create even rows according to the pattern, with yarn overs as knit sts. Repeat the pattern. Repeat 1st-16th rows.
Double Rib Pattern
The quantity of sts is even.
1st rnd: * 1 knit st, slip 1 purl, draw the yarn in front of st and tighten*; repeat from * to *;
2nd rnd: * slip 1 purl, draw the yarn in front of st and tighten, 1 purl*; repeat from * to *.
Repeat 1st-2nd rnds.
Stitches Control:
27 sts x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Cast on 136 (144) 152 sts in criss-cross method with knitting needles 3 and make 4 cm of 1 x 1 rib for the lower placket. Increase 1 (2) 3 sts in the last WS row = 137 (146) 155 sts. After that, continue work with the relief pattern. For short raglan chamfers, bind off 1 x 3 sts from both sides in 34 cm = 128 rows from the lower placket, then bind off 7 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 38 cm = 144 rows from the lower placket, leave the rest 117 (126) 135 sts.
Front
Make in the same way as the back.
Sleeves
Cast on 56 (62) 68 sts in criss-cross method with knitting needles 3 for each sleeve and make 4 cm of 1 x 1 rib for the lower placket. Increase 27 (30) 33 sts in the last WS row = 83 (92) 101 sts. Then continue work with the relief pattern, for size M, start with the 9th row according to the scheme. In 42 cm = 160 rows (40 cm = 152 rows) (38 cm = 144 rows) from the lower placket, make short raglan chamfers in the same way as for the back. In 46 cm = 176 rows (44 cm = 168 rows) (42 cm = 160 rows) from the lower placket, leave the rest 63 (72) 81 sts = 7 (8) 9 pattern repeats.
Round Yoke
Transfer the previously left sts of back, 1st sleeve, front and 2nd sleeve to the long circular knitting needles = 360 (396) 432 sts = 40 (44) 48 pattern repeats. After that, continue work with yoke pattern, starting with the 1st circle row according to the scheme. In 12 cm = 46 circle rows (14 cm = 54 circle rows) (16 cm = 62 circle rows) from the beginning of yoke (in the next 15th (7th) 15th circle row according to the scheme) make decreases according to the scheme in every pattern repeat, making decreases according to the scheme, but don’t make yarn overs = 320 (340) 360 sts. For the neck-hole placket, continue work with double rib with circular knitting needles 2.5 in 12.5 cm = 48 circle rows (14.5 cm = 56 circle rows) (16.5 cm = 64 circle rows) from the beginning of work. In 3 cm, bind off sts, make knit two together before you bind off sts = 160 (170) 180 sts.
