Detailed Crochet Guide for Flower Motif Garment


You’ll Need:
6 (7) skeins of brown-burgundy yarn (100% silk; 270m/50g);
Crochet hook 3.5.
Size:
S/M (L/XL).
Chest circumference: 88 (108) cm.
Length: 60 (63) cm.
Used Patterns
Flower Motif:
Make 7 chain sts and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st in the initial chain st. Crochet around.
1st Row: 1 chain st, * 1 single crochet behind the ring of chain sts, 1 double crochet, 4 treble crochets, 2 double crochets, 1 single crochet, 11 chain sts*; repeat from * to * x 3 times, slip st in the 1st chain st of the row = flower of 4 petals.
Note: After finishing the row, crochet the initial st and cut the yarn.
Stitches Control:
Flower = 4.5 x 4.5 cm.
Instructions
Start your work from the lower edge of the back, finishing with the lower edge of the front. Make 10 (12) flowers, connect them together with one etal and two edging “corners” (from the same side) = make 2 treble crochets of petal, then, 1 slip st in the center of the “corner” of the previous petal, 5 chain sts.
Note: Pay attention that all flowers should be placed RS up.
Continue work according to the scheme, connecting flowers with those from the previous rows in the same way as described above while connecting them with one another.
After making 8 rows of flowers, make sleeves according to the scheme.
When there are 13 rows completed for size S/M, the center of the next row = the center of the work.
For size L/XL, the center of work is between the 14th and 15th rows of flowers.

Work according to the scheme.
Assembly
Sew the edges of work, fold it according to the scheme, and sew, connecting flowers between one another as described above.
