You’ll Need

200 (250, 300, 350) 400g of sandy color yarn (70% polyester, 30% viscose; 200m/50g);

Knitting needles 6.

XS (S, M, L) XL.

Used Patterns

Pattern for Placket: Garter stitch: knit.

Main Pattern:

1^st row: 1 selvage st, 2 knit sts, * 1 yarn over, 3 knit sts, draw the 1^st st through the 2^nd and 3^rd sts*, finish with 1 knit st, 1 selvage st;

2^nd row: 1 selvage st, purls, 1 selvage st;

3^rd row: 1 selvage st, 1 knit st, * 3 knit sts, draw the 1^st st through the 2^nd and 3^rd sts, 1 yarn over*; finish with 2 knit sts, 1 selvage st;

4^th row: 1 selvage st, purls, 1 selvage st.

Repeat 1^st-4^th rows.

Stitches Control: 12 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Back is 8 cm longer than the front. Cast on 62 (68, 74, 80) 86 sts and make 3 rows with the pattern for placket. Then, continue work with the main pattern. In 71 (72, 73, 75) 77 cm from the set-up row, make 4 more rows with the pattern for placket. Then, bind off sts loosely. Total height = 72 (73, 74, 76) 78 cm.

Front

Start in the same way as back. In 63 (64, 65, 67) 69 cm from the set-up row, make 4 more rows with the pattern for placket. After that, bind off sts loosely. Total height = 64 (65, 66, 68) 70 cm. Make shoulder seams, matching with pattern design to 10 (11.5, 13, 14.5) 16 cm wide. For arm-holes, count 20 (21, 22, 24) 26 cm from both sides from shoulder seams = 36 (38, 40, 43) 47 rows and place marks.

Sleeves

Cast on 50 (53, 56, 59) 62 sts along edge of arm-hole between marks for each sleeve and work with the main pattern. In 11 cm, make 4 rows of pattern for placket. Then, bind off sts loosely.

Assembly

Make side and sleeve seams with matress stitch, leaving the lower 8 cm from both sides open for cuts.
