WS row: Work as stitches face, yarn overs as purls.
Stitches Control:
Lace pattern: 17 stitches x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Relief pattern with crossings: 49 stitches = 18 cm.
Instructions
Back:
Cast on 83 stitches and work with the relief pattern. At 56 cm = 112 rows from the set-up row, bind off 5 stitches from both sides for shoulder chamfers, and bind off 3 x 5 stitches in every 2nd row. At 60 cm = 120 rows from the set-up row, bind off the remaining 43 stitches, with the central 33 stitches forming the neck-hole, and the outer 6 stitches from each side forming the shoulders.
Front:
Cast on 101 stitches and work with 1 selvage stitch, followed by 25 stitches of lace pattern. Begin with stitches before the pattern repeat, make 1 pattern repeat, and make broaching instead of knit3tog for the last decrease in the RS row. For the center, use 49 stitches with the relief pattern, then proceed with 25 stitches of lace pattern, starting with the last stitch before the pattern repeat. Make 1 simple decrease, 1 pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 selvage stitch. At 12 cm = 24 rows from the set-up row, make 1 knit stitch and 1 purl from the central stitch of the relief pattern, divide your work between these stitches into two halves of 51 stitches, and finish in 12 cm = 24 rows due to the pattern separately.
Then, work on these 51 stitches for 23 more rows according to the pattern and leave stitches. Complete 24 rows on the second half of the relief and lace pattern. At 44 cm = 88 rows from the set-up row, decrease 1 stitch and 9 x 1 stitch in every 4th and 2nd rows. For this, work the last 2 stitches of the lace pattern as knit2tog, and avoid making a yarn over. Simultaneously, bind off 6 stitches from the right side at the height of the back, in 3 x 6 stitches, and 1 x 7 stitches in every 2nd row for the placket of the back neck-hole. Work on the remaining 10 stitches with the relief pattern for 10 cm, then bind off stitches as knit stitches. Create the right half in symmetry.
Sleeves:
Cast on 67 stitches and work with the relief pattern. At 42 cm = 84 rows from the set-up row, bind off all stitches.
Assembly:
Make shoulder seams. Create the neck-hole placket seam and sew it to the back neck-hole. Sew up the sleeves and make the side and sleeve seams.
