How to Crochet a Stylish Cotton Top

You’ll Need:
650 (700)g of green Alpha yarn (100% cotton; 104m/50g);
Crochet hook 4 (4.5).
Size:
S (M).
Stitches Control:
18.5 sts (17.5 sts) x 7.5 rows (7 rows) = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Make 140 chain sts and circle them in the ring, work with rnds. Make 1st-13th rows according to scheme 1, repeating sts of the pattern repeat.
Pattern Breakdown
The first 1 ½ pattern repeat forms the left half of the back, followed by the next 4 pattern repeats for the left sleeve, the next 3 pattern repeats for the front, the next 4 pattern repeats for the right sleeve, and finally, the last 1 ½ pattern repeat for the right half of the back. This makes a total of 14 pattern repeats.
Joining the Yarn
After completing the pattern repeats, make the 14th and 15th rows according to scheme 2 in the following way: join the yarn to the center of the back for the left half of the back (arrow B on scheme 1) and fasten the next 6 arrows with ½ pattern repeats according to scheme 3.
Creating Armholes
Put a mark and skip the next 4 pattern repeats of scheme 1 for the left armholes. For the front, make ½ pattern repeat according to scheme 2 on the next 3 pattern repeats of 13 arrows based on scheme 1. Mark and skip the next 4 pattern repeats for the right front and fasten the remaining 1 ½ pattern repeat on 6 arrows from arrow B of the left half of the back. The marks denote the side lines.
Final Rows and Finishing Touches
Then, repeat the 14th-15th rows x 12 times = 39 rows from the set-up row, making increases aligned with the pattern design. After that, complete the 40th-60th rows according to the pattern on all sts and finish your work. Fasten the neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch.”
