You’ll Need:

250g of silver-grey yarn (40% cotton, 40% polyacryl, 16% polyamide, 4% polyester; 250m/50g);

Crochet hook 2.5.

Size: 103 x 130 cm.

Used Patterns

Lower Fringe

Work according to scheme 1. Make 1st-6th rows once, then, repeat 3rd-6th rows; finish with the 7th and 8th rows according to the scheme.

Main Pattern

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 15 + 13 stitches. Work according to scheme 2 straight on the left side of the lower fringe. The area marked with grey color indicates the pattern repeat of 15 stitches.

The lower fringe is stated under the scheme with light-grey color. Complete 1 pattern repeat of the main pattern, working to the 4th row of the fringe accordingly. Start with stitches before the pattern repeat, then the pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after the pattern repeat. Decrease stitches along the left side according to the scheme.

Make the right side edge straight without decreases. Execute 1st WS row once, then repeat the 2nd-7th rows.

Side Fringe

Work according to scheme 3. Continue with the fasten yarn of the lower fringe and first create the corner motif (the row of the scheme marked with grey color).

Then, make the 5th-6th rows once according to the scheme, then repeat the 3rd-6th rows, connecting your work with the right side of the shawl using 1 slip stitch.

Stitches Control

Fringe = 5 cm wide;

Main pattern: 38 stitches x 12 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Note

Initially, make the lower fringe across. Then, create the shawl on the left side edge of this fringe and complete the side fringe on the straight right side.

Instructions

Make 8 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and create the lower fringe. In 100 rows from the setup row, complete your work, fasten the yarn, and do not cut it.

Next, work with the main pattern on the left side of the lower fringe according to the scheme, starting with 1 WS row = 23 pattern repeats + initial and final stitches or 373 stitches.

Decrease 1 pattern repeat every 6 rows. In 125 cm = 150 rows from the beginning, finish your work. After that, continue work for the side fringe for the lower placket, making the corner motif first, then work according to the scheme. Finish your work in 144 rows from the corner motif.
