Wrong-side pattern:
- In RS row – purls,
- In WS row – knit stitches.
Rib: *2 rows of stockinette stitch, 2 rows of wrong-side pattern*.
Arches pattern: The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 15. Work according to the scheme. Start every row with 1 or 3 chain stitches instead of the 1st single crochet or 1st double crochet and stitches before pattern repeat, then pattern repeat, finishing with stitches after pattern repeat. Start with 1 row of single crochet (= A), then, make 1st-5th rows once, starting with 1 WS row, then repeat 2nd-5th rows.
Note: Make a group of 4 double crochets, 2 chain stitches, and 4 double crochets only around the chain stitch of the previous row, starting from the 2nd row.
Stitches Control
- Rib: 11 stitches x 24.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
- Arches pattern: 12.5 stitches x 5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Note: At first, make the upper part across as one-piece cloth. Make lower parts of front and back from top to bottom on the edges of the upper detail.
Instructions
Upper Part and Front
Start with the right side, cast on 62 (68) stitches and work with rib. In 24.5 cm = 60 rows (31 cm = 76 rows) from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 40 (44) stitches for the neck-hole along the right side, then cast them on all 62 (68) stitches again in the next WS rows and continue working as per the pattern face. In 50 cm = 122 rows (63 cm = 154 rows) from the set-up row, bind off all stitches as knit stitches.
Lower Part of Back
Fasten the left edge of the upper part with arches pattern, making 60 (75) single crochets in row A. In 58 cm = 29 rows (62 cm = 31 rows) from the beginning of arches pattern, finish your work.
Lower Part of Front
Make in the same way as the lower part of the back, but first, sew both halves of the front at the lower beginning of the neck-hole.
Sleeves
Crochet sleeves from top to bottom on the set-up row or bound off part. For this, fasten the upper 18 (24) cm with arches pattern from both sides from the center of the shoulder, making 45 (60) single crochets in row A. In 46 cm = 23 rows from the beginning of the sleeve, finish your work.
Assembly
Make side and sleeve seams.
