Left Front:

Cast on 58 sts with criss-cross method and work in the following way: 1 selvedge st, 42 sts of stockinette stitch, 1 st of wrong-side pattern, 12 sts of relief stripe, 1 st of stockinette stitch, 1 selvedge st. For side chamfer, decrease 24 x 1 st in every 2nd and 4th rows from the right side. For this, knit the 2nd and 3rd sts after selvedge st together as knit st = 34 sts. In 38 cm from the set-up row, bind off 3 sts from the right-side for the arm-hole, 2 x 2 sts and 6 x 1 st in every 2nd row, 3 x 1 st in every 4th row. At the same time, in 50 cm from the set-up row, leave 5 sts from the left side of back neck-hole and then, bind off 8 sts for shoulder chamfer, 1 x 3 sts and 4 x 2 sts in every 2nd row. In 55 cm from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.

Right Front:

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves:

Cast on 32 sts with criss-cross method and work with stockinette stitch. At the same time, increase 9 x 1 st in every 8th and 10th row by turn from both sides for sleeve chamfers = 50 sts. In 42 cm from the set-up row, bind off 1 st from both sides for sleeve cap and 10 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 3 sts in every 2nd row. In 55 cm from the set-up row, bind off the rest 18 sts.

Assembly:

Make shoulder seams. Make stripes with stockinette stitch on the previously left 5 sts of front for 7 cm long (neck-hole placket), then sew the sts with kitchener’s stitch to attach the placket to the back neck-hole line. Make side seams, leaving 1 cm open in 24 cm from the set-up row. Sew up the sleeves.
