Instructions
Back
Cast on 91 sts and make 4 rows of double rib and 50 rows with 2 x 2 rib (totally, 20 cm). Then, work with stockinette stitch, increase 1 x 40 sts from both sides and knit the edge with 3 sts from both sides using double rib and 2 sts behind these sts with wrong-side pattern. In 34 cm, bind off 1 x 5 sts from both sides, then decrease 36 x 1 st and 9 x 2 sts in every row after the first 3 sts and before the last 3 sts. In 52 cm, bind off the rest of the sts.
Right Front
Cast on 22 sts and work with rib in the same way as for the back. After that, work with stockinette stitch, increase 1 x 40 sts from the left side at the end of the row, and make the first 3 sts as double rib and the next 2 sts as wrong-side pattern. At the same time, decrease 10 x 1 st in every 6th row after the first 3 sts from the right side for the neck-hole. In 34 cm, bind off 1 x 5 sts from the left side and 44 x 1 st in every row. Bind off the remaining 3 sts.
Left Front
Make in symmetry to the right front.
Placket and Collar
Cast on 344 sts along the central edge of the right front, back neck-hole, and central edge of the left front. Make 40 rows of 2 x 2 rib and 4 rows of double rib (totally, 17 cm) and bind off all sts with Kitchener’s stitch.
Assembly
Make shoulder and side seams. Create 8 straps: for one strap, cast on 4 sts and make 40 rows with double rib, then bind off sts. Sew straps to the edge of the right front and in the center of the left front.
