Instructions
Back
Cast on 74 sts with double yarn and make 1 row of knit sts, then work with the main pattern. In 35 cm, bind off 1 x 9 sts from both sides for armholes, resulting in 56 sts. In 58 cm from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 6 sts and 1 x 8 sts from both sides in every 2nd row for shoulder chamfers. Finally, bind off the remaining 28 sts of the neck-hole.
Right Front
Cast on 38 sts with double yarn, make 1 row of knit sts and then work with the main pattern. In 35 cm from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 9 sts from the left side for armholes, leaving 29 sts. In 51 cm from the set-up row, bind off 15 sts from the right side for the neck-hole. In 58 cm from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 6 sts and 1 x 8 sts from the left side in every 2nd row.
Left Front
Make in symmetry to the right front.
Sleeves
Cast on 38 sts with double yarn and make 1 row of knit sts, then work with the main pattern. After 9 vertical pattern repeats, increase 5 x 1 st in every 8th row from both sides, resulting in 48 sts. Make the increased sts in the wrong-side pattern. In 44 cm from the set-up row, bind off 6 x 1 st and 2 x 6 sts in every 2nd row from both sides for sleeve caps. Finally, bind off the remaining 12 sts.
Assembly
Make WS of details, make shoulder seams, sew up the sleeves, and make side and sleeve seams. For the neck-hole placket, cast on 66 sts along the neck-hole and make 1 row of purls and 2 rows of knit sts, binding off all sts as knit sts in the 3rd row. For the left placket fastener, cast on 68 sts and make in the same way as the neck-hole placket. Create the right placket fastener in the same manner, making 7 button holes. Finally, sew on the buttons. For each pocket, cast on 20 sts with double yarn, make 1 row of knit sts, complete 5 vertical pattern repeats with the main pattern, and bind off sts. Sew the pockets onto the jacket.
