Worsted weight acrylic yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver and Caron Premium for my sample), approx. ½ oz each of:
- White (or Flower color)
- Green (for leaves)
- Blue (or desired/coordinating color)
Size G aluminum crochet hook OR Size Needed for Gauge.
Gauge
- Flower = 2" across, with leaves = 4¼" across
Finished Size
- 6" or 7" square (see end of pattern)
Special Stitches
Beginning 3-Treble Cluster (beg 3trcl)
ch 3, holding last loops of sts on hook, work 2 tr in sp indicated, yo and draw through all 3 loops on hook.
3-Treble Cluster (3trcl)

Notes
- BL(s) = Back Loop(s)
- FL(s) = Front Loop(s)
- Rnd 4 (the "leaves") may tend to "bunch up" as you work it, but will lay flat once remaining Rnds are complete.
Instructions
With White: ch 6, join with sl st in first ch to form a ring.
Round 1
ch 1, 12 sc in ring, join with sl st in FL of first sc. (12 sc)
Flower Petals
Working in Front Loops, ch 3, (sk next sc, sl st in FL of next sc, ch 3) around, join with sl st in first sl st, ch 1, working BEHIND ch-3 lps, sl st in next unworked FL, ch 4, (sk next sc, sl st in next unworked FL, ch 4) around, join with sl st in sl st at beginning of first ch-4, ch 1, working BEHIND ch-4 lps, sl st in Back Loop of next st, ch 4, (sk next sc, sl st in BL of next sc, ch 4) around, join with sl st in sl st at beginning of first ch-4. Fasten Off White. Ch lps will "stand up" - this is desired. (3 "rnds" of 6 ch lps each)
Round 2
Join Green with sc in any remaining unworked BL of Rnd 1, ch 3, sc in same BL, ch 2, *(sc, ch 3, sc) in next unworked BL, ch 2*, rep from * to * around, ending last rep with ch 1, sc in top of first sc (this forms first loop for next Rnd). (6 ch-2 lps, 6 ch-3 lps)
Round 3
ch 1, sc in same lp, ch 3, (sc in next ch lp, ch 3) around, join with sl st in first sc. (12 ch-3 lps)
Round 4
sl st into first ch-3 lp, work (beg 3trcl, ch 4, 3trcl) in same lp, ch 2, (3trcl in next ch-3 lp, ch 2) 2 times, *(3trcl, ch 4, 3trcl) in next ch-3 lp, ch 2, (3trcl in next ch-3 lp, ch 2) 2 times*, rep from * to * 2 more times, join with sl st in top of first st. Fasten Off Green. (4 ch-4 sps, 12 ch-2 sps)
