Set-Up Row
Work [1 single crochet (sc), chain 2 (ch 2), 1 single crochet] in the 3rd chain from the hook, *skip the next 2 chains, [1 single crochet, chain 2, 1 single crochet] in the next chain, repeat from * across, ending with 1 half double crochet (hdc) in the last chain, turn;
1st Row
Chain 3, *3 double crochets (dc) in the next chain-2 space (shell made), repeat from * across, ending with 1 double crochet in the top of the turning chain, turn;
2nd Row
Chain 2 (counts as first half double crochet), * [1 single crochet, chain 2, 1 single crochet] in the 2nd double crochet of the next shell, repeat from * across, ending with 1 half double crochet in the top of the turning chain, turn.
Repeating the Rows
Repeat the 1st and 2nd rows.
