Used Patterns

Wavy Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 18 sts + 2 selvage sts. Work according to scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows according to the ornament, yarn overs as purls.

Fancy Pattern

The quantity of sts is odd. Work according to scheme 2, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st, repeat the pattern, finish with st after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1^st-4^th rows.

1 x 1 Rib

Circle rows.

Stitches Control

Wavy Pattern: 18 sts x 21.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Fancy Pattern: 21 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 110 (110) 128 sts and make fringe with wavy pattern. At 14 cm = 30 rows height of the fringe, work with fancy pattern, decrease 9 (1) 11 sts in the 1^st row = 101 (109) 117 sts. At the same time, bind off 5 x 1 st from both sides in every 14^th row from the fringe for side chamfers = 91 (99) 107 sts. In 31 cm = 90 rows (29 cm = 84 rows) 27 cm = 78 rows from the fringe, bind off 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 4 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row = 69 (77) 85 sts. In 47 cm = 136 rows from fringe, bind off the central 33 (37) 41 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from inward. In 49.5 cm = 144 rows from the fringe, bind off the rest 13 (15) 17 sts of shoulder from both sides.

Front

Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole at 41.5 cm = 120 rows from the fringe, bind off the central 13 (17) 21 sts and 2 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row, 4 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st.

Sleeves

Cast on 56 (56) 74 sts and make fringe with wavy pattern. At 14 cm = 30 rows height of the fringe, work with fancy pattern, decrease 9 (1) 11 sts in the 1^st row = 47 (55) 63 sts. At the same time, increase 10 x 1 st in every 6^th row from both sides from fringe for sleeve chamfers = 67 (75) 83 sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 22 cm = 64 rows from the fringe, bind off 2 (3) 4 sts from both sides for sleeve caps and 2 x 2 sts, 16 x 1 st, 2 x 2 sts, 1 x 2 (3) 4 sts in every 2^nd row. In 37 cm = 108 rows from fringe, bind off the rest 11 (15) 19 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 84 (92) 100 sts with circle knitting needles along the neck-hole line, make 2 cm of rib for the placket and bind off the sts according to the ornament. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
