Pattern repeat is 8 sts wide and 2 rows high.
1st Row (Set-Up Row): 8 chain sts + 4 chain sts, 2 double crochet in the 6th st from the crochet hook, *1 chain st, skip 1 st in the chain and make 1 double crochet*. You'll get a net.
2nd Row: 3 chain sts increase, 3 double crochet in this st, repeat the following combination to the end of the row: *7 double crochets with common top, waver from 7 double crochets with common top*.
Finish the row with 4 double crochets in the 2nd chain st.3rd Row: 4 chain sts increase, 1 double crochet, skip 1 double crochet from the lower row, 1 chain st in the st of double crochets with common top group. Then, continue crocheting in a crochet *1 chain st, 1 double crochet*. Finish the row with 1 double crochet in the 3rd chain st.
4th Row: Repeat the 2nd row.
