Knitting with Wool Cotton: Patterns and Instructions
You'll Need
600g of 100% wool cotton (120m/50g);
Knitting needles 6 and 7.

S – M – L.
Used Patterns
Garter Stitch
Knit stitches in right-side and wrong-side rows.
Wavy Pattern
Due to the scheme 1. The quantity of stitches is multiplied: 13 sts + 10 sts + 1 st + 5 sts + 2 selvedge sts. Only right-side rows are stated on the scheme.
Make wrong-side rows according to the ornament. Make yarn overs as knit stitches.Allocation of Stitches Depending on the Size
Size S: 1 selvedge st, 4 sts before the pattern repeat A, pattern repeat B 4 times, 5 sts before the pattern repeat C, 1 st after the pattern repeat C, 1 selvedge st;
Size M: 1 selvedge st, 6 sts before the pattern repeat B, pattern repeat B 4 times, 8 sts after the pattern repeat B, 1 selvedge st;
Size L: 1 selvedge st, 4 sts before the pattern repeat A, pattern repeat A twice, pattern repeat B 4 times, 5 sts before the pattern repeat C, pattern repeat C twice, 1 st after the pattern repeat C, 1 selvedge st.
Repeat from 1st to 28th rows.
Relief Ornament
Make according to scheme 2 with knitting needles 6 and 7 on the odd quantity of stitches. Only right-side rows are stated on the scheme. Make wrong-side rows according to the ornament. Start with 1 selvedge st, pattern repeat, finish with st after the pattern and 1 selvedge st.
* Make 1st-6th rows with knitting needles 7, rows 7th-12th - with knitting needles 6, then from 13th to 26th rows - knitting needles 7*; repeat from * to * to end of row.
Stitches Control
On the Wavy Pattern: 11.5 sts x 25.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
On the Relief Pattern: 14 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back
Cast on 64-68-72 sts with knitting needles 7 and continue with the wavy pattern according to scheme 1.
After 154 rows (=60.5 cm) from the beginning of work, make 6 rows (=3 cm) for the placket with garter stitch and knitting needles 6.
Bind off all the stitches as knit stitches. They're divided into 36 central stitches (=neck-hole) and side 14-16-18 stitches (=shoulders).
Front
Make as back.
Sleeves
Cast on 33-37-41 sts for each sleeve with knitting needles 7 and knit according to the relief scheme.
Make increases of 1 x 8 sts in every 14th row (from the 1st row) according to the scheme. You should get 49-53-57 sts.
Bind off the stitches after 126 rows (=48.5 cm) from the beginning of work.
Assembly
Sew up shoulder seams. Sew the sleeves, and make side and sleeve seams.
