How to Knit a Cozy Sweater Using Lana Grossa Cashsilk

You’ll Need:

12 skeins — 900 m /600 gr — Lana Grossa Cashsilk in 036 color;

Circle knitting needles 9 mm;

Sewing needle.

Size:

Width: 52 cm;

Length: 55 cm;

Sleeves: 42 cm.

Stitches Control:

12 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Body Back and Front

Cast on 64 stitches.

Row 1: slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, purl 1 till the last stitch, purl 1.

Repeat Row 1 — 9 times.

Row 2: slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit all the stitches, purl the last stitch.

Repeat till the length is 55 cm. Bind off the stitches.

Knit 2 pieces.

Sleeves

Cast on 34 stitches.

Row 1: slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, purl 1 till the last stitch, purl 1.

Repeat Row 1 — 9 times.

Row 2: slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit all the stitches, purl the last stitch.

Continue to knit Row 2 — 7 times.

Increase Row: slip one stitch knitwise, knit one into front of the row below (inc 1), knit till one stitch left, knit one into one below (inc 1), purl the last stitch. Repeat increasing row 4 more times every 10 rows, so that in the end you have 44 stitches. Knit till the needed length and bind off the stitches.

Sewing

Place the parts of the sweater wrong side up in front of yourself. Start sewing the shoulders leaving the neck hole, then follow with the sides of the sleeves, then the sleeves themselves, and finish with the sides of the sweater. Try to sew accurately.

Neck

Cast on stitches around the hole of the neck. Place the marker to indicate the beginning of the round. Knit 1, purl 1 till the end of the row. Continue for 6 rows. Bind off stitches.
