You’ll need:

250 (300)g of black Cumba yarn (42% sheep wool, 30% polyacryl, 28% Alpaca; 150m/50g);

100g of the same yarn, but in anthracite color;

50 (100)g of the same yarn, but in light-grey color;

Straight and circle knitting needles 5.

Size: M (L).

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS rows – knit sts, in WS rows – purls;

3 x 3 rib;

Pattern with slipped sts: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 3.

RS rows: * 1 purls, slip 1 st as purl (yarn behind work), 2 purls*; repeat from * to *, * 1 purl, slip 1 st as purl, 1 purl*.

WS rows: due to the ornament, slipped sts – as purls;

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 3.

1st row (RS): * 1 knit st, 2 yarn overs, knit2tog*; repeat from * to *;

2nd and 4th rows: * 1 purl, 1st yarn over as purl, slip the 2nd yarn over, 1 purl*; repeat from * to *;

3rd row: * knit2tog, 2 yarn overs, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *.

Repeat 1st-4th rows;

Pattern for plackets: 1 purl, slip 1 st as purl (yarn behind work) by turn.

Make WS rows due to the ornament, slipped sts – as purls.

Stitches control:

Rib: 20 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Pattern with slipped sts: 19 sts x 25,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Relief pattern: 15 sts x 21,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Placket: 6 sts + selvedge st = 2,5 cm.


Instructions

Back

Cast on 101 (113) sts with black yarn and work with pattern with slipped sts between selvedge sts. In 46 cm from the set-up row, bind off all the sts, make neck-hole on the central 39 (43) sts, outer 31 (35) sts from each side – shoulders.

Left Front

Cast on 47 (51) sts and work in the following way: 1 selvedge st, 39 (43) sts of relief pattern (for size L, finish with 1 extra st of stockinette stitch), 6 sts of pattern for placket, 1 selvedge st.

At the same time, knit 1st st of the pattern for placket with the previous st together as purl from the left side of neck-hole in the 5th row of the set-up row for arm-hole.

Repeat this decrease x 4 (5) times in every 4th and 14th rows and in every 6th and 4th rows by turn.

Bind off the rest 28 (31) sts of shoulder at the height of back.


Right Front

Cast on 58 (63) sts with anthracite yarn and work in the following way: 1 selvedge st, 6 sts of pattern for plackets, slip 1 st as purl, 50 (55) sts of pattern with slipped sts (for size M, slip 1 st as purl in the beginning), 1 selvedge st.

At the same time, knit the last st of the pattern for placket with the previous st together as purl from the left side of neck-hole in the 5th row of the set-up row for arm-hole.

Repeat this decrease x 11 (17) times in every 4th row and 12 (8) rows in the 6th and 4th rows by turn.

Bind off the rest 34 (37) sts of shoulder at the height of back.

Assembly

Makeshoulderseams. For the plackets of sleeves, cast on 95 (101) sts from both sides of shoulder seam along the upper 23 (24,5) cm of side edges with anthracite yarn and make 11 cm of rib between selvedge sts, then, bind off the sts due to the ornament.

Make side and sleeve seams.

Sew left front to the right on 5 cm higher.

Cast on 192 (198) sts with black yarn and circle knitting needles along the bottom, catching front, make circle row 24.
