Complete Knitting Instructions for a Beautiful Two-Color Pattern Using Yarn A and B

Introduction

The quantity of stitches (sts) is multiplied by 4 + 1. Use two colors of yarn (A and B).

Instructions for Casting On

Cast on the stitches with A yarn:

Row Instructions

1st Row (RS) (A)

2 knit sts, * (1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st) in the next st, 3 knit sts*; repeat from * to * to the last 4 sts, (1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st) in the next st, 2 knit sts.

2nd Row (B)

2 purls, * slip 3 sts, yarn in front of work, 3 purls*; repeat from * to * to the last 5 sts, slip 3 sts, yarn in front of work, (1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st), 2 knit sts.

3rd Row (B)

* knit 2 together, slip 1 st, yarn behind work, 1 broaching (slip 1 st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st), 1 knit st*.

4th Row (A)

4 purls, * slip 1 st, yarn in front of work, 3 purls*; repeat from * to * to the last 1 st, 1 purl.

5th Row (A)

4 purls, * slip 1 st, yarn in front of work, 3 purls*; repeat from * to * to the last 1 st, 1 purl.

6th Row (B)

4 purls, * slip 3 sts, yarn in front of work, 3 purls*; repeat from * to * to the last 1 st, 1 purl.

7th Row (B)

3 knit sts, * knit 2 together, slip 1 st, yarn behind work, 1 broaching, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to * to the last 2 sts, 2 knit sts.

8th Row (A)

2 purls, * slip 1 st, yarn in front of work, 3 purls*; repeat from * to * to the last 3 sts, slip 1 st, yarn in front of work, 2 purls.
