Used Patterns:
- 1 x 1 rib;
- Placket: is made on 3 sts.
Placket Instructions:
- 1st row (RS): slip 1st without knitting, 1 knit st, slip 1 st without knitting;
- 2nd row: 1 purl through lower loop, slip 1 st without knitting, 1 purl through lower loop;
Pineapple pattern: due to the scheme.
Instructions:
Work with 2 threads of yarn.
Back:
Cast on 108 sts and work with aran pattern, the first and last 8 sts – purls (only 2 of them are shown on the scheme). Decrease 1 st x 4 after the selvedge st in every 10th row. There are 100 sts left. Knit straight for 3 cm, after that, increase 1 st x 3 from both sides in every 12th row. You should get 106 sts. Bind off 6 sts from each side at 42 cm for arm-holes. After 22 cm bind off all the sts on arm-holes. 29 sts for each shoulder and 36 sts for neck-hole. Bind off the sts.
Right Front:
Cast on 60 sts and knit: 3 sts of placket, 5 sts of rib, the rest sts – arans. Foreseen 6 button-holes on the placket. Make decreases and increases for sides in the same way, as for back. At 42 cm bind off 6 sts for arm-hole and continue knitting straight. At 57 cm, transfer 8 sts to the auxiliary needle and bind off 6 sts, 4 sts, 3 sts, 2 sts, 1 st for neck-hole. At 61 cm, bind off 29 sts for shoulder.
Left Front:
Make in the same way, as right front, but without button-holes.
Sleeves:
Cast on 50 sts and work with aran pattern the first and last 3 rows – wrong-side rows. Increase 1 st x 6 in every 6th row for widening and 1 st x 10 in every 4th row. You should get 82 sts. At 47 cm bind off 5 sts x 5 for sleeve cap. Bind off the rest 32 sts.
Assembly:
Make all the seams, sew up the sleeves. Lift 97 sts along the neck-hole and bind off 5 sts on each side. There are 87 sts left. Knit 11 cm of rib, bind off the sts. Sew the buttons.
