Cast on 84 sts with double yarn and make 2 cm = 4 rows of garter stitch and 2 rows of stockinette stitch. Increase 26 x 1 st cross st in the 1st row of stockinette stitch after every 3rd st = 110 sts.
After that, work in the following order: 1 selvage st, * 12 sts of grate pattern, 36 sts of rhombs pattern*; repeat from * to * x once, 12 sts of grate pattern, 1 selvage st.
Make 1st-38th rows of pattern with rhombs, then repeat 3rd-38th rows x once, finishing with the 3rd-4th rows = totally, 400 rows of pattern.
Make 1 row of knit sts, and make every 3rd and 4th sts together x 26 times = 84 sts.
Make 4 rows of garter stitch for the placket and bind off sts loosely. Fasten the long sides with 1 row of slip sts in 2 threads of yarn.
