Special Stitches

Cable 2 Back (C2B): Slip one stitch onto a cable needle and hold it to the back, knit one, and then knit one off of the cable needle.

Cable 2 Front (C2F): Slip one stitch onto a cable needle and hold it to the front, knit one, and then knit one off of the cable needle.

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 6.

Row Instructions

Prep Row 1 (RS): Using yarn A, knit.

Prep Row 2: Using yarn A, purl.

Row 1: Using yarn B, knit 2, slip 2, *knit 4, slip 2; repeat from * to the last 2 stitches, knit 2.

Row 2: Using yarn B, knit 1, purl 1, slip 2, purl 1, *knit 2, purl 1, slip 2, purl 1; repeat from * to the last stitch, knit 1.

Row 3: Using yarn A, knit 1, cable 2 back, cable 2 front, *knit 2, cable 2 back, cable 2 front; repeat from * to the last stitch, knit 1.

Row 4: Using yarn A, purl.

Repeat the 1st to 4th rows.
