Crochet a Stylish Mélange Pearl Yarn Sweater

400 (500) 550g of the same yarn, but in mélange beige color (#00012);

Main pattern: the quantity of stitches is multiple 2 + 1 chain stitch + 2 chain stitches increase.

Stitches Control:

10 stitches x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Left Front

Make 77 (81) 85 chain stitches with beige yarn and work according to the scheme. Make the first half of half crochets group in the 3rd chain stitch from the crochet hook according to the scheme, pattern repeat and finish the row with 1 half crochet in the last chain stitch. In 20 cm = 20 rows from the set-up row, divide stitches in the following way: start the row with beige yarn with a selvage stitch, pattern repeat x 12 (13) 14 times, finish the row with pearl pattern = 25 (26) 27 groups of half crochets and a selvage stitch. Divide stitches to make 69 (73) 77 rows, last row – RS row. Cut pearl yarn and leave stitches.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front. For lower edge, make 20 rows with beige yarn, then divide colorful. Start the 21st row with pearl yarn, 1 selvage stitch, 25 (26) 27 groups of half crochets, then finish the row with beige yarn = 12 (13) 14 groups of half crochets and selvage st. Divide colors to make 69 (73) 77 rows, make the last row as RS row. Don’t cut the yarn.

Back

Start with WS row and work on front as one-piece cloth. For this, make the row according to the pattern on the right front, make 7 chain stitches (= neck-hole), then join the left front, for this, continue making row on left front according to the pattern. Then, divide stitches in the following way: with beige yarn 1 selvage stitch, 12 (13) 14 groups of half crochets (make 1 group of half crochets in the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th chain stitches on additional central chain stitches), then make 12 (13) 14 groups of half crochets and 1 selvage stitch with beige yarn. In 49 rows from the beginning of back, work with beige yarn = lower edge. In 70 rows from the beginning of back, finish your work.

Assembly

Start with the lower edge of the right front with beige yarn and work with single crochets. Make 1 single crochet in every row from both sides, make 1 single crochet between groups of half crochets, make 1 single crochet, 1 chain stitch, and 1 single crochet in one and the same base stitch in the corners, make single crochets between groups of half crochets. Circle the row with 1 slip stitch. Then, make 1 row of single crochets along the front.
