Step-by-Step Guide to Crochet Stitches and Rows for Beginners

The quantity of stitches is multiplied by 6 + 2 chain stitches increase.

Row Instructions

1st Row

: * 1 single crochet in the 2nd chain stitch from the crochet hook, skip 2 chain stitches, 5 double crochets in the same stitch, skip 2 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the 3rd stitch, slip 2 chain stitches, 5 double crochets in the same stitch*; repeat from * to * to end of row;

2nd Row

: *3 chain stitches increase, 2 double crochets in the 1st stitch, 1 single crochet in the 3rd double crochet in the weaver of the previous row, weaver in the single crochet of the previous row*; repeat from * to * to end of row;

3rd Row

: * 1 chain stitch increase, 1 single crochet in the 1st double crochet of the previous row, weaver in the single crochet of the previous row*; repeat from * to * to end of row, finish with 1 single crochet in the 3rd chain stitch increase of the previous row.

Repeat the 2nd-3rd rows.
