You'll Need:

450g of 100% acryl yarn of turquoise color (742m/450g);

450g of the same yarn, but sandy color;

450g of the same yarn, but carotty color;

450g of the same yarn, but light-blue color;

Knitting needles 6;

Needle with a big eye.

Size:

101.5 x 101.5 cm.

Used Patterns

Garter stitch: all knit sts.

Stitches Control:

14 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Knitting Motif

This plaid consists of motifs. Each motif is a square with a 20.5 cm side and is made as a one-piece detail from colorful blocks. Lift the sts for the new block from the previous parts - see the scheme.

Attach the next color by means of pulling the sts from the edging st of the previous block. This st is the 1st st of the row.

Instructions

Make 25 squares. Knit motifs according to the instructions and scheme.

First Block

Cast on 9 sts with turquoise yarn and knit 17 rows of garter stitch. Bind off the sts. Attach sandy yarn to the last st.

Second Block

Turn your work clockwise. Lift 9 sts along the side of the 1st block with sandy yarn. Knit 17 rows with the same pattern. Bind off the sts and attach carotty yarn to the last st.

Third Block

Turn your work clockwise. Lift 9 sts along the side of the 2nd block and 9 sts along the side of the 1st block with carotty yarn. Total: 18 sts.

Make 17 rows with garter stitch.

Bind off the sts. Attach sandy yarn to the last st.

Fourth Block

Turn your work clockwise. Lift 9 sts along the side of the 3rd block and 9 sts along the side of the 1st block with sandy yarn. Total: 18 sts.

Make 17 rows with garter stitch.

Bind off the sts. Attach sandy yarn to the last st.

Fifth Block

Turn your work clockwise. Lift 9 sts along the side of the 4th block and 9 sts along the side of the 1st block and 9 sts along the side of the 2nd block with light-blue yarn. Total: 27 sts.

Make 17 rows with garter stitch.

Bind off the sts. Attach sandy yarn to the last st.

Assembly

Sew the motifs according to the scheme.
