Used Patterns
Wavy pattern - knit according to the scheme;
Garter stitch: all knit stitches;
Single crochet - start each row with 1 chain stitch increase instead of 1 single crochet.
As the dress is two-colored, pay attention to the color rotation: garter stitch (4 rows) - with blue yarn, wavy pattern (8 rows) - with yellow yarn.
Stitches Control
Wavy pattern: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Single crochet: 22 stitches = 10 cm.
Instructions
Front
Start making the dress from the front part. Cast on 92 (110) 128 stitches with blue yarn and knit with a wavy pattern according to the scheme, 2 edging stitches from each side are selvedge stitches. After knitting 28 (32) 36 cm, turn to garter stitch. The yoke of the dress is made with blue yarn. After making the needed size, bind off the stitches. You can change garter stitch to single crochet with a crochet hook. For this, make 53 (62) 71 single crochets for the 1st row of the yoke and crochet 4 (5) 6 cm.
Back
Make in the same way as the front.
Straps
You can make these 2 details either with knitting needles or a crochet hook. For knitting, cast on 10 stitches and knit 30 (34) 38 cm. Make a buttonhole for the button: bind off 2 central stitches and cast on the missing stitches above them in the next row. After knitting 2 cm, bind off the stitches. If you prefer to make the straps with a crochet hook, make 6 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase instead of 1 single crochet and crochet 32 (36) 40 cm with single crochet. Make a hole for the button: 2 chain stitches.
Assembly
Steam all the details, fix them on the pattern design and let dry. Make side seams. Sew the straps, stepping 4 (5) 6 cm from the side seams. Steam all the seams. Sew the buttons.
