You’ll need:

100g of sectional coloring 100% cotton yarn (110m/50g);

Odds of yellow 100% cotton yarn (200m/100g);

Knitting needles 5;

Crochet hook 5.

Size: 8 years.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: work due to the scheme. At first, make sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat x 6 times, make sts after pattern repeat. Only RS rows are stated on the scheme, make WS rows as sts face.

Garter stitch: knit sts;

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Back

Cast on 71 sts and work with relief pattern, make 1^st-9^th rows x 7 times. Make 2 rows of garter stitch in the end. After that, change to yellow yarn and work with stockinette stitch. In 2 rows, bind off 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 3 sts and 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides for arm-holes. Then, knit straight. At 38 cm height, bind off the central 23 sts for neck-hole and finish each side separately. At 15 cm height of arm-hole, bind off the rest sts of shoulder.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, at 33 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off the central 10 sts and finish each side separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from inwards. At 43 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off the rest sts. Finish another side of neck-hole in symmetry.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch” with yellow yarn. Make a chain and sew it along the edges of arm-holes and neck-hole.
