How to Create a Unique Rope and String Craft

You'll Need:

• Thin leather string
• Embroidery threads
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Thick waxen rope

Instructions

Take a waxen rope and cut 25 cm.

Make a loop at the end of the rope.

Make a knot in the loop.

Cut a piece of rope, leaving half a centimeter under the knot.

Wrap the waxen rope in a circle with leather string until a length of half a centimeter is hidden.

Make another turn with the leather string, then pull the end into the loop and tighten to make a tight knot.

Attach the tip of the embroidery thread to the string and rope.

Wrap the rope in a circle.

Fasten the thread by pulling the end into the loop and tightening the tight knot.

Continue weaving, wrapping leather string alternating with thread. Remember to fasten the knots after each section!

Make a knot at the end of the string to fit in the loop.

Cut off the excess tips.
