You'll Need:

Gather the following materials to get started:

  • Cardboard
  • Newspapers
  • Sewing awl
  • Glue
  • Clothes pins
  • Accessories (for decoration, up to you)

Instructions

Follow these steps to create your decorative shoe:

  1. Form the base of the shoe out of cardboard.
  2. Make the holes with an awl: Before the boot - after 2 cm, heel - after 1.5 cm.
  3. Insert 30 strings into holes using glue.
  4. Braid racks in 2 tiers.
  5. Attach a clothes pin to the 2 central racks to the toe of the boot and continue weaving.
  6. Weave 2 racks together from one edge, then from the other - at level 8.
  7. Make 12 strings for the boot tongue.
  8. Decorate to your taste.
