Scrap Yarn, any thin shiny yarn
3mm hook
scissors
stitch marker or piece of yarn (optional)

Abbreviations :-
chain – ch
stitch – st
double crochet – dc
extended double crochet – edc
single crochet – sc
slip stitch – slst
x edc together (decrease) – x-edc-tog
Pattern :-
ch6, join to the first chain to form a ring. Work the next round in this ring.
ch3 (counted as first edc through out the pattern), 2edc, ( ch1, 3edc ) repeat around and finish the round with ch1 and slst to join the top of the ch3.
ch3, 1edc in each of the next 2 sts, ( ch5, skip ch1-space, 1edc in each of the next 3 sts ) repeat around and finish with slst to the top of the starting ch3.
ch3, 2-edc-tog, ( ch5, sc in ch5-space, ch5, 3-edc-tog ) repeat around and finish the round with ch3 and edc in the top of the starting ch3.
( ch5, sc in ch5-space ) repeat around and finish with ch3 and edc in the top of the edc st of previous round.

( ch4, sc in ch-space ) repeat around and finish with ch2 and edc in the top of the edc st of previous round.

Fasten off. Weave in the ends.
****Repeat round 5 and 8 as per your need to adjust the bun cover size.****
TIE :-
ch100 or more as per your need.
Weave thru the last round and tie into a cute bow; or simple knot and tuck the ends inside.
This is to keep the bun cover tight around the bun. You can also use satin ribbon instead of making a separate tie.
