Crochet Colourful Flower Hanging Decoration

Requirements

• DK yarn
• 3.5mm or 4mm hook

Terminology

This pattern uses UK terminology.

tr = treble crochet

htr = half treble crochet

Instructions

Chain 3, join with a slip stitch into a ring.

Round 1

ch3, make 1tr into ring, ch2, *make 2tr into ring, ch2, repeat from * 4 times more, slip stitch to join.

Cut off yarn and join in 2nd colour.

Round 2

Working into a chain space, ch2, 1htr into same space, ch3, *2htr into next chain space, ch3, repeat from * 4 times more, slip stitch to join.

Cut off yarn and join in 3rd colour.

Round 3

Working into a chain space, ch3, 4tr into same space, slip stitch into centre of the two stitches of the 2nd colour, *5tr into next chain space, slip stitch into centre of the next two stitches of the 2nd colour, repeat from * 4 times more, slip stitch to join.

Fasten off.

You can add a hanging chain if desired by making a chain of 16sts before the final join, or by using a single long loop before fastening off.
