Crochet Hanging Rainbow: A Colorful Home Decor Idea

What a vibrant and whimsical idea! A crochet hanging rainbow is a delightful way to add a splash of color and joy to any room. You can use a variety of yarn colors to create a bright and cheery rainbow effect, or go for a more muted and subtle look with pastel shades. Hang it above a crib, a window, or even outdoors to add a pop of color to your outdoor space.
Materials Needed
Hook - 3.5mm
Yarn
- Cotton 4 ply Weight in rainbow colors - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet
- A different color for joining and edging (I used pink)
- I used Scheepjes Catona (this yarn is gorgeous if you have never used it before!)
Construction
The rainbow will be made in a circle which will be folded over and the edges crocheted together. This means it can hang in a window and have the same finished look on both sides.
