Materials Needed

• Crochet hook – K/ 6.50 MM
• Yarn – Bulky (5) 1 oz. (used assorted yarn from my yarn stash)
• Button – ¾ to 1 inch
• D-Ring or metal ring – 1 inch
• Clip – 1 inch
• Assorted charms
• Yarn needle

• Chain (ch)
• Slip Stitch (slst)
• Single Crochet (sc)
• Half Double Crochet (hdc)

Ch 1 does not count as a stitch.

Pattern Instructions

Make 2 circles:

RND 1: Ch 2, 8 hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook. Join to the 1st hdc with a slst, ch 1 (8 hdc).

Use your needle and the tail of the yarn to close the hole in the center of the circle.

RND 2: 2 hdc in each dc around. Join to the 1st hdc with a slst, ch 1 (16 hdc).

RND 3: 2 hdc in the 1st hdc, *1 hdc in the hdc, 2 hdc in the next hdc* Repeat from * to * around. Join to the 1st hdc with a slst. Tie off and weave in the ends. (24 hdc)

Repeat RND 1 – RND 3 – only leave the yarn attached.

RND 4: Place the 2 circles together, sc in the next 18 hdc, sewing the front and back together, leaving the last 6 stitches unworked.

Sc in the front 6 sts, sc in the 1st 3 sc of the back, ch 12, slst in the last 3 chs (this will form a button loop). Sc in the last 3 sc and join to the 1st sc with a slst and tie off. Weave in the ends.

Sew a button to the front of the bag. Sew on the D-ring and add the clip and charm.
