- Size 5mm crochet hook
- Worsted weight 4 yarn

Stitches and Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- dc = double crochet
- tr = treble or triple crochet
- fpdc = front post double crochet
Pattern:
Row 1: magic circle, ch 15. hdc 13 into third ch from hook. ch 2 turn.
Row 2: fpdc 1, dc 2, skip 3 stitches, tr into the next three stitches. Now tr into the first stitch you skipped and then the next two. dc 2 into the next stitch after all your tr. fpdc 1, dc 1. ch 2 turn.
After row 2, your stitches should look like this.
Row 3-5: fpdc 1, dc 2, fpdc 6 (into your treble crochet making sure you do them in the proper order or else your cable won't work out.) dc 2, fpdc 1, dc 1. ch 2 turn.
Repeat rows 2-5 until you reach row 19, or the desired length for your mug of choice, but 19 rows fits most bottles and mugs.
Row 20: hold the piece so that your working edge is aligned with your first row. Now sc across to join the ends together. Finish off and weave in ends.
