Body

The body is worked in rows and sewn together once finished.

Ch 13

Row 1: sc in second ch from hook and in each st across. Ch1, turn.

Row 2-3: sc in each st across, ch1, turn.

Row 4: sc in first two sts, *skip 2 sts, crocodile st in next st** repeat from * to ** once. Skip 2 sts and sc in last two sts in row, ch1, turn.

Row 5: sc in first two sts, hdc in next 8 sts, sc in last two sts.

Row 6: sc in first st, *skip 2 sts, crocodile st in next st** repeat from * to ** twice. Skip 1 st and sc in last st in row. Ch1 and turn.

Row 7: sc in first two sts, hdc in next 8 sts, sc in last two sts.

Repeat rows 4-7

Slip stitch along edges to join and form a “circle”.

Sew along top edge to form flat head.

Eyes

Make 2.

Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second chain from hook, sl st in first sc to form circle.

Rnd 2: Ch1, 2 sc in each st around, join with sl st (12 st total). Fasten off.

Right Eye Lash

Join brown yarn with sl st and chain 2. Sl st in 2nd chain from hook and sl st to same st as joining. Sl stitch in next 5 sts, fasten off.

Left Eye Lash

Join brown yarn with sl st and sl st in next 5 sts. Ch2, sl st in 2nd chain from hook, join with sl st to same st as last sl st.

To form pupils, cut a small piece of black yarn and tie knots in it to form a small ball. Pull through center of eye and secure.
